Dr. Ernest R. Flores, the pastor of Zion Baptist Church of Ambler, is a dynamic preacher, teacher, pastor and counselor who has pastored churches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for 24 years.

Dr. Flores earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in History, a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Eastern University.

Dr. Flores has preached the gospel in Mexico, Zambia, Italy, Burma as well as across he United Stated. He has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Azusa Pacific University, Latin American Bible Institute, Eastern University, Esperanza College, Palmer Theological Seminary and his currently an adjunct professor at Lincoln University, the first HBCU.

Dr. Flores formerly served as the president of the Philadelphia Baptist Association Ministers Council. In 2008, Judson Press published a book of his sermons called, “Tempted to Leave the Cross.”

The Reverend Charles W. Quann has served as the Pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Spring House, PA. since April 1986. Since his calling to The Bethlehem Baptist Church, a Christ –Centered, Multi-Cultural Church, Pastor Quann has directed the development of numerous ministries

Reverend Quann was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Pastor Quann received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern University, with additional studies at Eastern (Palmer) Theological Seminary in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Reverend Quann accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church in Philadelphia. In December of 1974, he was licensed to preach the Gospel and was ordained in October of 1977 by Reverend Dr. Albert F. Campbell, his mentor & Pastor Emeritus of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Philadelphia.  Pastor Quann served as an Associate Minister at Mt. Carmel until he was called to pastor the Gibson Temple Baptist Church in Philadelphia in 1980.

Reverend Quann is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Award, the American Cancer Society, the United Way, YMCA, and the Wissahickon Faith Community Association.

Dr. Alexander Payne Sr.

McKinley Memorial Baptist Church
Willow Grove, PA

Rev. Payne serves as the pastor of the McKinley Memorial Baptist Church in Willow Grove Pa. He was installed at this branch of Zion in October of 2017.

Pastor Payne is a former member of the Second Macedonia Baptist Church in Phila. Where he serves under the late pastor Thomas J. Ritte and pastor Harold Jolley.
At Second Macedonia Rev. Payne served the Lord in many capacities, from driving the Sunday school van, teaching Adult II Sunday school as well as teaching at the SMBC bible institute. Rev. Payne also serves in the Deacons Ministry for 10 years where he held the position of 1st Vice Chairman.

Rev. Payne along with his wife were also the church cooks, preparing meals for the repasts and other church functions.

After answering the call on his life to the preaching ministry by Studying, Standing and Serving to show himself approved, Rev. Payne was licensed into the preaching ministry by the late Dr. Ritter in 2004.

Rev. Payne further developed his ministry by faithfully attending the Jameson School of Theology, Bible College and University where he received his Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees. Rev. Payne also attended PEKBA where he received his certificate of ordination. Rev. Payne was ordained by his pastor, Rev. Dr. Harold Jolley in 2014.

Second Baptist Church of Doylestown

Reverend Dr. Robert E. Hamlin Sr. is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

In September 1994, Reverend Hamlin was licensed to preach at McKinley Memorial Baptist Church, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania under the leadership of Rev. Lowell M. McCown Sr. In February of 1996, Reverend Hamlin was installed as the Pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Doylestown. 

Under Pastor Hamlin’s leadership, Second Baptist has grown spiritually, numerically and financially. Pastor Hamlin’s vision to minister to a wide and diverse community has positively impacted the community providing for the spiritual and earthly needs of the surrounding community. 

In May of 1977, Reverend Hamlin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from The Lutheran Theological Seminary of Philadelphia in May 2000 and he received his Doctor of Theology degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary, Cum Laude, in November 2013. 

Reverend Hamlin is a past moderator of the Suburban Baptist Association and serves on the Board of Directors of several community, national and internationally based organizations. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Association, Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention, American Baptist U.S.A. and the National Baptist Convention.
